It has been five years after the war had taken place, and since Hermione graduated from Hogwarts. Fleeing to the country and cutting herself off from the magical world, Hermione finds a friend in Remus Lupin. Remus pleads with her to return to Hogwarts for their 5th reunion memorial service. Hermione agrees and faces her past and what her future holds. Will Hermione turn and run away, or will she face her past and move on with her life?
A time after the war, Hermione Granger is at the happiest time of her life, or so she thinks. Giving into her heart and joining Ron as he tours around the world, finally she settles down and finds a real home. What happenes when she realises that world is about to crumble and fate intervines, bringing her together with a man she grew up hating.
Summary: It was false though, all of it, and now we’re stuck going through the motions and smiling for the cameras. You see, we were adults before we were twelve…never teenagers, but instead puppets living out what was written by someone else. We lived in a world of extremes: murdering for love and loving until death. We missed out. This story was written in honor of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. As part of the general Potter celebrations at Circle of Crones, several of the staff, who met on a Harry Potter website several years ago, have decided to celebrate some of the most beloved and bemusing Potterverse cliches and stereotypes.
This particular story celebrates the notion that Ginny Weasley is a Fire Elemental . . . and none other than Draco Malfoy is a Water Elemental.
