Although I wasn't sure about the pairing, I think you wrote it very sweetly and I really enjoyed reading it. Good job :)
It was good! I don't think you really portrayed Remus right, but it was still very good. I liked it a lot!
While I have strong feelings about the pairing you've depicted, probably because I'm a teacher and find it very unsettling, this was well written.
Author's Response:I can honestly say that this story was a huge challenge for me to write. We were given prompts for the people we were writing for, this was a Remus/Hermione, with snow and a bonfire. I had the ending already planned, but just had to get to it. While the pairing is unusual and not always favoured, I think that the fact that Remus is no longer her teacher, but just a man and Hermione is no longer a student, but a woman trying to cope with life after the war, gives a clear way to have these two get together.
Thank you for the review and the fact you thought this was well written despite being uncomfortable with it :) Its always nice to know what people think about these things :)
