Summary: The second in the trilogy "Before the Beginning," which retails Minerva's second through seventh years at Hogwarts. She learns lots about herself, magic, Muggles, war, friendship, love, hatred, and--Quidditch.
In the first chapters of this book, I hope to delve further into some incompletely explained characters and theories of JKR's world of magic. To facilitate this, the story will be from many different POVs, a là George RR Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice.

Summary: After Professor Dumbledore's death, Hermione has stayed at Hogwarts to research spells the trio might need in their quest to destroy the Horcruxes. There, she receives a visit from the most unlikely of persons: the ghost of Sirius Black. He has grave news.
